Jackpot is a true gambling town that was started after Idaho started cracking down on their gambling laws in the 1950s. Peter “Cactus Pete” Piersanti and his partner packed up their black jack tables and moved them right across the border. The town quickly became a popular gambling spot, where the likes of some of their casinos would fit right into Las Vegas.
